Mr Green’s Fundraising SleepOut Adventure!

I’ve crazily signed up with a group of friends for my first ever SleepOut for LandAid on 2nd March.

LandAid are the property industry charity aiming to end youth homelessness. If you are able to make a donation of any size, it will be massively appreciated by our group and more importantly, the young people who have to sleep outdoors every night. Please follow the link to our team fundraising page: https://join.landaid.org/fundraisers/YorkieSleepers

Your help is warmly appreciatedJonathan Green

NHS advice: Is my child too ill for school?

It can be tricky deciding whether or not to keep your child off school when they’re unwell.

NHS Live well logoThe NHS publishes information and guidance to help with this on their Live Well site at https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/is-my-child-too-ill-for-school/

Please use this helpful link to the NHS website, giving you really good, clear advice about illness and school attendance.

You can find out more about the school’s policies and procedures around attendance on our Policies and Documents page, where you will also find policies and information relating to health and medicines.

Ofsted Monitoring Report

I am delighted to attach our latest Ofsted monitoring visit report.

Although we have not moved out of Special Measures, the report highlights the excellent progress the school has made since the previous monitoring visit and over the past year.

This has been achieved because everyone in school and in our community is focussed on working hard, improvement and support. I am very grateful.

I would also like to thank you for your common sense, patience and never-ending encouragement. Very best wishes – UNS!Jonathan Green
