Year 3 / 4 Homework – 1st May

The homework for this week is for our science work on habitats.

Look in your garden for about 20 minutes and record what animals make it their habitat. You can look for insects or mini beasts and spend some time observing which birds or mammals use the garden as part of their habitat.

Count and identify as many of them as you can. You plan and decide how you will record this in your homework book. It might be as a graph, chart or table. you probably have some of your own ideas too.

Remember, neat, thoughtful presentation is important. Give your work a title, include drawings and pictures too.

Also include what time of day and what the weather was when you did this.( It might make a difference to what you note using your garden.)

Have fun!
