You all have a new Guided Reading Group. Your task is to find out about the author of your group; either Julia Donaldson, Michael Morpurgo, Roald Dahl or David Walliams.

Write 3 paragraphs. Find out where and when they were born and a little bit about their life and where they live now. Find out some books they have written and when they wrote them. Find out something interesting about them as a person, e.g.  favourite things, or anything unusual they may have done. Anything interesting you can discover.

Remember to use your line guide and your best writing, with capital letters and full stops in the right place. Give your work a title and underline it with a ruler.

Draw a picture to go with your writing.
