Friends of Naburn – Christmas News!

Naburn Christmas Bazaar.
Join us this Saturday 7th December at the Naburn Christmas Bazaar! The event will take place in Naburn Village Hall from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Our stall will feature a chocolate tombola, craft bags for sale, Splat the Christmas Pudding, and an opportunity to decorate gingerbread people - all to raise funds that will go directly back into the school for the benefit of our children. You'll also find plenty of other gift stalls to explore and, of course, Santa's Grotto, where children can meet the man himself! We'd love to see as many of you as possible for an afternoon of festive fun!
Get Your Tickets Now for the Christmas Raffle!
Tickets for this year's raffle are now on sale for just £1 each! Don't miss out on the chance to win some amazing prizes (full details on other image) Make sure you grab yours before they're gone! Tickets will be available at the school gates after school, starting this Friday. Additional sale days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday next week and the following week. Raffle with be drawn at 15:15 on Friday 20th Dec on the school playground.
Guess The Elf's Name.
We're also running a fun 'guess the name of the elf' competition for the children! Entry is just £1 per guess, available to buy at the same time as the raffle tickets. The lucky winner will take home the elf as their prize!
Xmas Film Night
Film night is back, and with a festive twist! Join us on Friday 13th Dec 17:30-19:10 in the school hall to watch Elf. This film is rated PG so please make sure you are happy for your child/ren to watch this. £3.50 entrance, or £5 for siblings, which will include a festive hot chocolate, gingerbread person and popcorn. Everyone's invited to come in their festive PJs and bring blankets, teddies, pillows and well behaved elves!
Don't forget to visit the Naburn C of E Primary School Christmas tree in York Minster. All decorations were handmade by the children and you can vote for your favourite tree. It's available to see between now and 5th January 2025 in the North Quire Aisle. — Click to enlarge!
