Dear Parents,
I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year and hope that you have been able to spend some quality time enjoying Christmas, albeit in a different way to usual.
As you will have heard, there is much discussion on the media and amongst teaching unions and councils regarding the start of the Spring Term. However, it is important to stress that, at the time of writing, no formal communication has come from the DfE. As a result, our pupils will return to school as planned on Tuesday 5th January 2021, following our INSET day tomorrow.
As a parent myself, I realise how worrying this uncertainty is for everyone. Should there be any new directives from the DfE or CYC, we will follow these and I will contact you at the earliest opportunity to outline any amended arrangements. The admin team and I will be in school tomorrow, so can be contacted by telephone or email if you have any particular concerns.
