This year for World Book Day, we are inviting children to come dressed as a character from their favourite book. The day promises to be fun-filled with lots of activities to inspire a love for reading! We will be decorating potatoes as book characters as well as learning and performing a poem.

We are also inviting parents to join us in school from 2pm on Thursday 5th March, to read with your child. Find a cosy corner in the classroom, library or hall and share a book together. The children will then perform their poems for you at the end of the day!
