Year 3 and 4 are taught by Mr Kenwright, Mr Griffiths and Mrs Denison

Summer 2008
Our topic this term is Plants.

In Science, will be learning about the different parts of plants and what makes them grow well. We will also be looking at plants through art, poetry and writing. In Faith we will be finding out about different people's beliefs about how the world was made and asking why we should look after nature.

Our Life topics are 'Keeping safe and well' and 'Going for Goals'.

We will be learning tennis at the Next Generation Gym'striking and fielding' games like rounders as well as athletics, and we will be staging our school show.

Growing Broad Beans

Guardians and teachers can write about reading books in the reading diaries and about anything in the Planners, but especially weekly targets and events.

Please feel free to contact me directly on any matter.

Don't forget that every child should have a light coat and must have a sensible cap or sunhat in school every day; showers happen in Summer and UV radiation is a serious threat to your child's future health. A packed mack can be left in the P.E. bag and school caps are available from the office at £3.50. On sunny Thursdays and Fridays you may want to use sunscreen for P.E. as well: put some on in the morning or bring some in a sealed plastic bag.

Please provide water only in a drinks bottle with a sports top, labelled with your child’s name for them to drink during lessons.
